For many folks away from home the best time of the year to go back is Pasku and Anja Nobo. But with that comes VERY high ticket prices and having to book months in advance.

So, what do you think is another good time to go down to Curacao?

Some people say Carnaval is the best time to go, depending on who you ask. I think year round is a good time to go! It's always a lot of fun! Maybe September is a month to avoid since it's the warmest month of the year, and that ain't always a good thing...

I used to love going to the parties (Lucas & Ramon's) on Christmas Eve, and the one on Anja nobo. Remember those awesome parties at Yacht Club till sunrise? I guess I am really showing off my age on this site...

I guess it depends on what it is you seek... Anja nobo is always a good time to see all the people returning to the island for the Holidays. My favorite time of the year, however, is Carnaval. One of the few days you're still expected to go (a little) crazy.
I guess it's most enjoyed if you participate in the parade, or if you get a spot at one of the fun trailers along the road...

I love going back in december... I noticed that the ticket prices have gone down drastically this year. I found flights round trip with tax and everything for like $300 (leaving from miami) compared to the usual $500-$800.

No question about it, that december/ januari is the best time to go. All of the old friends and family are back. Good parties, vuurwerk shows and pagaras....and not to forget all the food (especially ayakas)

But if december is not an option....for some carnaval is good too, so they can party and let go of everything.

For me, i'm not that much into carnaval, when i used to live in curacao I would always make use of my carnaval vakantie dagen to travel and get to do new things.

But the summer is also good to go back, if you have younger siblings. Cuz then they have a break from schl and you get to spend more time with them.
